Wearing the Heritage
I left to London because I thought there was something beyond just being a Korean, Christian, or living in Tulsa- wanted to see something different. But ironically, it was in the midst of the people, the country, that was completely different from what I am that made me realize who I really am, and that was when I started to see Hanbok differently. Clothing is an identity, name, and a historical root. It's pretty funny how far we go to recognize to find what we already have. The modest, circular lines, volume that wraps the female body without vanity. These days I plan to wear it more mix an match (maybe top and bottom-), let me know any ideas to bring this Korean traditional garments more in daily livesπ Beautiful dress from @jote_ta
